Aren’t traditional meatballs made with ground pork? And aren’t I the hugest fan of hot Italian sausage? And that’s how these hot Italian sausage meatballs came to be.
These spicy and flavorful meatballs are filled with the good stuff like onions and fresh parsley. And with no gluten-ous fillers, they’re the perfect topper for a gluten-free zucchini noodle dinner.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground hot Italian sausage
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped white onions
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- garlic salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized bowl, use your hands to mix together meat, veggies, and egg.
- Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.
- Roll meat mixture into 1-1/2" balls and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
