I woke up bright and early this morning, made some eggs and toast, and gathered my running gear. Why is it so much easier waking up early on the weekends??

I met my coworkers at the top of the hill, where we discussed who would be the slowest. You see, none of us are runners and we were all pretty confident that our paces were slower than the rest of the group.

I hadn’t run since Tampa and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I ended up running a little over two miles straight, walking for about a quarter of a mile, and running the rest of the way. Much better than it could have been!

What, Beck could not spring for a Austin shirt for you?

Haha! Corporate refused to order smalls in the Beck 100 shirts, so I had to wear a different shirt.

Girl! That is great for not running! I’m going for my first run in a while tomorrow am and I wish it was a fun run with some friends!

I never thought about it before but you’re so right. It is much easier to get up earlier on the weekends 🙂
