Today wasn’t a very hungry day. The awesome townhouse in Austin that I wanted is going to have to be someone else’s awesome townhouse. Thankfully, I’m heading there tomorrow to check out places in person and hope to find the place where I’m supposed to live. You know, cause things happen for a reason.
And going to Austin tomorrow also means getting to hang out with Skylar!! I haven’t seen Skylar since August 2010 (when I had very long, very red hair) and I’m super excited about exploring the city with her. We’ve been scheming about yoga, Body Pump, and Mexican martinis. I can’t wait!
Have you ever been to Austin? What are your favorite veg-friendly spots?

Hi – I just found your blog through Meals and Miles. I am in Austin right now – and moving here permanently in May. I drove down from PA to move my husband in. I’m excited to read about your experiences moving here as we settled in.

I’ve been in Austin about a year. If you need great veg-friendly places, hit up Mother’s Cafe in South Austin. And don’t forget to check out Kerbey Lane form brunch. They offer tons of veg-friendly eats and their gingerbread pancakes are more than famous.

I’ll definitely check those places out! Thank you!
