Saturday morning was all sorts of good. I started out with ginger green tea, scrambledness on a gluten-free waffle, and a good read. I was rested, inspired, and ready to check out the Ybor Saturday Market.
Window glances were constant as the weather seemed questionable for an outdoorsy day. But all was well as the sun broke through the clouds at a pace that seemed impossible. What also seemed impossible? I was literally staring at Ybor City from my dining room table and this was going to be my first market trip. Really??
There were a few good finds. Seasonal honey, local produce, and happy shiny people were a plenty. It. Was. Hot.
I left empty handed. The wall of humidity that I ran into face-first killed my purchasing mojo. I do, however, plan on making another trip in say… October. Items I’m hoping will be there upon my return? Jumbo strawberries, key lime preserves, hand made soy candles, and a chill in the air.
