I’m embarrassed that it took me naming this post to realize I was in Fresh Prince territory.  I could have dealt with rush hour traffic so differently, so 1990s, so fluorescent.  Instead, I bopped around, in the darkness that 5:30 PM Philadelphia brings, to Discovery and Miike Snow.

Darkness was an understatement.  Even if I wanted to eat something terribly filling yet unfulfilling, I wouldn’t have been able to find it.  Thank goodness for a well-lit Whole Foods, thank goodness.

I was pleased as I unpacked.  Due to my usual lack of foresight, I inevitably end up dying of thirst and gorging on free, stale muffins during hotel stays.  Not this time!

Soup, veggies, and a trifecta of chicken salads for dinner.  Berries and orange & ginger skyr for breakfast.  Like I said, pleased.

I’m here til Friday and hoping to find a blog worthy local joint – suggestions are welcome!
